Dr. Coselli S. Joseph - Cardiothoracic Surgery / Cardiochirurgia

Dr. Coselli received his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. His main area of clinical interest is the area of Aortic surgery. He is an expert in the following types of surgical procedures: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery, and Peripheral Vascular Surgery. He has a large teaching activity, as he currently holds the position of Professor and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Coselli has a large research activity. He has made numerous presentations on several topics of Cardiothoracic Surgery, both in his country and abroad, having lectured extensively at numerous national and international scientific meetings. It's worth saying that as a cardiothoracic surgeon he was honoured by his colleagues, chosen to be listed in the prestigious "The Best Doctors in America" in 1996. He was also named by Good Housekeeping's "The Country's Best Heart Doctors" in 1996.

Dr. Coselli is a member of several scientific and professional societies, including the following: American Association for Thoracic Surgery, European Association for Cardio-thoracic Surgery, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Southern Thoracic Surgical Association. He is an active member of numerous committees of both national and local cardiothoracic surgery organizations.
