Dr. Martin L. Rothberg

Cardiothoracic Surgery

   
Dr. Rothberg received his M.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He spent the next years gaining precious specialist experience. He performed his residencies in general surgery and in cardiothoracic surgery at the Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary in England, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Rothberg currently serves as Assistant Dean at the Northwest Campus. In addition, he is Professor of Surgery at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He teaching activities also include teaching Surgery at the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha NE, as an Associate Clinical Professor. He serves as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND.

It's worth saying that Dr. Rothberg has been honoured with a Community Faculty Distinguished Teaching Award from the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1996.

He is a distinct member of his scientific society. Since his arrival in Minot in 1992, Dr. Rothberg has actively participated in the medical education of resident physicians at the Minot Center for Family Medicine and fourth-year medical students at the Northwest Campus of the medical school.
