Dr. Disaia Philip J. - Obstetrics and Gynecology / Ostetricia e Ginecologia

Dr. DiSaia received his M.D. degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine. He afterwards performed his residency in surgery and Obstetrics/Gynecology at Yale. He then served his fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Hospital. He is board certified by both the American Board of Obstetrics/Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.

Dr. DiSaia serves as president of the University of California, Irvine (UCI) HealthSystem, which is an organizational structure that was created in 1996, unifying the leadership of the UCI College of Medicine, UCI Medical Group and UCI Medical Center. He is committed to bringing to his patients the newest techniques available. In addition, he holds the position of chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at UCI Medical Center. He was also elected recently to the American College of Surgeons Board of Governors.

It's worth saying that Dr. DiSaia is well recognized by his peers throughout his country. He was honoured and chosen to be listed in the 1996-97 edition of the prestigious Best Doctors in America. He was also named by the Good Housekeeping Magazine in its feature on the "Best Doctors for Women" in 1997.
